Really hits home doesn't it? So many of us are caught up in our own lives that we never take the time to listen. Someone may be saying something and we are not hearing. When was the last time you just listened? Really and honestly looked someone straight in the eye and listened.
I can relate this to so many situations here but I don't want it to turn into a Oprah session.
Prospecting.... Do you talk talk talk and sell sell sell or do you truly listen to what your prospect is saying?
Now this business is not about only selling a product or service it is about selling yourself.
A prospect will listen if they like you. Make a friend. There are alot of good people out there, I will tell you I have met more of the most genuine people in the past 9 months then I have met my entire 35 years.
Sell yourself first, ask a question, listen up, zip up. Your prospect may be saying something they may be giving you there hot spot, there why did you missed it! You missed the boat baby, you lost the sale or the sign up.
Network marketing however doesn't always give us the chance to look someone straight in the eyes. We have to listen to the voice. The eyes are the seeds to the soul but in this business the we need to listen to the voice, the message behind the words. Do you hear it?
